While not classified as service dogs, their training ensures calm, controlled, and well-behaved behavior in public, providing elite protection without limiting your lifestyle.

The reality is that unfortunately, most dogs do not protect their owners. There are several factors which play a role including genetics, and necessary socialization to raise dogs who are confident in every scenario. All of the dogs at Israel Protection are highly trained and bred to be the highest quality protection dogs on the market.

No dog is the same but it takes about an average of 2-4 weeks. The bonding process is also dependent upon the amount of attention and time you give the dog as well as if you follow the advice that we will give you during the first few weeks.

We strongly suggest if you have name preferences to put a deposit down and tell us in advance. However, if this is not possible you can always start addressing the dog by a new name that he will learn how to respond to. We will teach you how but please be aware that the name on the Pedigree cannot be changed.

Each dog is slightly different depending on the extent of training you desire. However, our dogs are usually fully trained within 10-14 months.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the overall cost of the dog will be taken as well as a signed contract as the dog will be tailored to your specific needs.

Most dogs start bonding within the first few days and form a strong connection within one to two weeks, especially with consistent handling and structure.

When we deliver each dog in person we will spend several days with you in order to teach you all of the commands and the specific psychology of your new pal. We also will include bi-weekly checkups for the first month and always be accessible over the phone in the future. The cost for flights will be included in the overall price of the dog.

Protection dogs require the same routine veterinary care as any healthy dog regular checkups, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and dental care. Because they are working dogs, they also benefit from occasional orthopedic evaluations to ensure joints, hips, and overall physical condition stay strong throughout their working life.

All our dogs are extremely exposed to children from a very young age, so the dog will not show aggression if their tail is pulled, eyes poked, and ears pulled. Regarding other house pets, we just need a notice in advance about the other household pets and we will provide the necessary socialization beforehand.

We train real protection dogs that do not need any stimulations (see the sleeve or stick) in order for the dog to switch to watch mode to protect you and attack the aggressor. Due to the complicated situation in Israel, we have fine-tuned our method for training the most stable dogs that can do the job completely in a variety of complicated scenarios.

Please note that if you do not want a friendly and outgoing dog, that is possible upon request.

None of our dogs are aggressive. They are trained to be discerning and obedient, so they are 100% safe around people and will remain calm and controlled like a soldier doing their job.

All our dogs come from working German and Czechoslovakian bloodlines with a pedigree. Each dog is hand picked by our head trainer to best fit your needs. Our dogs are never trained or kept in a kennel like other companies, rather all of our dogs live in the head trainer’s home.
